On Future Features

General Feature Requests

We've been working on Strong for some time and we have a lot of users. As you might expect, that means we've heard almost every request or idea imaginable. 😅

For this reason, we're no longer taking feature requests. We already have enough to work on, and making requests in a particular direction won't help to escalate it.

But we'll figure it out. That's our job.

Unfortunately, we can't say anything regarding ETAs for these features either, even the simple ones. We understand the frustration, but we have a lot of work ahead of us.

We're improving ALL the things 🚀

Strong is built for everyone. Therefore we build out in a holistic and complete way that has the needs of every user in mind.

We're working on a number of significant improvements across the entirety of Strong right now. These are based on the hundreds of feature requests that we have received, and we've solved them in creative and intuitive ways.

We use the app too, and we're really aware of how we can make it better. If you notice something, we've likely already seen it too.

We can't provide ETAs (Sorry!)

We would love to do this. However, larger, big picture improvements are incredibly hard to make estimates on. We've learned our lesson and won't provide ETAs or roadmap information for Strong in the future, and we would request you disregard previous estimations we may have mentioned previously.

Software development is complicated. We're working as hard as we can and we're in this for the long haul. 

While we're building things out, if you see any bugs in the current versions of the app, we appreciate your help and we will still be able to respond. And we've also been fixing and making minor iterative improvements to the app.

(For smaller bugs, we may not fix them immediately, as many of them will be addressed by the improvements we are already making.)

Currently we're working on...

Architectural Overhaul for the next generation of Strong. This directly or indirectly addresses multiple feature requests we've received (in particular Scheduling) and requires all apps to be substantially rebuilt (including Strong's Apple Watch app).

Web App. This is also built upon the new architecture and is being worked on at the same time. We cannot provide any further information on this right now.

After this, we'll get to the rest of the requests (and we can't wait to work on them too).
